Netbook was easy to configure. He worked directly from the box. It is immediately connected to our network. It came with a trial version of Microsoft Office, request a key to install and keep in mind that only so many times one, without being able to use the Insert key. But there are no clear instructions about where to find the key. Anyway, I downloaded and installed the free OpenOffice suite, which I intend to replace Microsoft Office. I have this unit for about 6 weeks in the possession and found that the expert slide volume was broken. HP Customer Care provides a quick solution involves removing and reinstalling the battery. Turn off the shiny surface of the net book value, and the screen, while providing color Crisp bright is too bright, almost like a mirror you can see nitidly. Try this out before deciding to buy a netbook. The Price is Right, and indications are good, with a chip fast enough RAM and a large hard drive.

I bought this laptop from Amazon a month ago 5X to 76X with a $ $ off (still) wait. I built a large number of both and are impressed by the quality of service. Whatever the bells and whistles are available, the main criteria for buying a laptop is portability, power, memory, battery and wireless LAN (unless you are) a player. The book is intended for all of the above and more attractive at a price. I am an engineer and consider myself a very sophisticated user, so that a netbook is not in question. I started looking to find a laptop with low price to 13 3-14. 1 size range. I was looking for a laptop, 5 kg or less integrated into the optical drive weighed. I was not given a name brand. I compared with HP 13 and Dell 13 Toshiba 13 Everybody had screens, T6500 processor, 4GB memory and 320GB hard drive LED. These were my first three choices in the sub $ 800 price range. This configuration HP Quick Ship, added a 9-cell battery, a 500GB hard drive and a lower price (with rebate) than its competitors. SOLD! As for the material itself, it is very bright and has lots of chrome. I called his Cadillac. It came with a microfiber cloth, and it is very necessary. Lights HP logo on the back (cool effect). Touch-sensitive keys make the laptop look futuristic. This is my laptop screen off first. It is actually wider than Old 14th 1 inch Dell laptop I have. It is interesting to see how the change after a few years. The display is phenomenal for its size. Attend shows on Hulu or YouTube videos are sharp and clear. Note: the screen does not open an angle of 180 full degree. It is very quiet and does not run hot. The keyboard is a full keyboard and is very comfortable and well appointed. The Caps Lock LED is next to the button (I missed at first). Chrome mouse pad works well, but it's a bit obvious, I think. Interestingly, a vertical scrolling but no horizontal book. It can be disabled if you and a mouse. The 9 cell battery raises the laptop on the back. It is a fair trade shop for almost an entire day of use to pay. In fact, I like the angle it creates, others not. No Gigabit Ethernet with the omission is (surprisingly) than 10/100. This is the Draft N wireless but no Bluetooth. I can always one of those Bluetooth nano in one of the 3 USB ports, I think. Because the software clock, I am not talking about Vista, I'm not a big fan I am entitled to a free upgrade, 7, and I intend to do so ASAP. I like the cyber-DVD Suite pre-installed, so I always, but I pretty much everything else uninstalled. Media Center is one of HP MediaSmart software obsolete. More adorable included remote works with Media Center. Pros – Size, weight, price, battery, Wireless N & 500-GB drive Cons – No Bluetooth, no gigabit Ethernet, a lot of bling

Hewlett-Packard DV3 bills this as an entertainment machine, but to be brutally honest, I do not understand quite why. More like a standard laptop for me. The speakers are Altec Lansing SRS tinny, for example, creating a pseudo surround sound effect, but they sound. The HDMI connection is to connect the DV3 a large screen television, but also most often found on more business-oriented laptops these days helpful. You can edit a suite of applications HP MediaSmart for watching DVDs, listening to music, viewing photos and video. But this goes against the fact that features pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium operating system comes with its own Media Center software, which has nearly the same, while the best integrated system operating. The DV3 makes a fine laptop. The 13th screen of 3 inches is a good balance between display size and agility, while touches of style, such as edges and polished chrome, black finish (it will also help in a white version) to look flashy. The touchpad looks good, with polished chrome, making it surprisingly comfortable to use. The volume control is a backlit touch-sensitive panel above the keyboard – you slide your finger left or right to adjust the volume. There is not much room for plugs and connectors, but HP has not stopped trying. There are only two USB ports, and unfortunately, is one of them so close to the DVD burner, a USB memory stick I tried to block the opening drive. The other side of the DV3 is also very well attended and connectors for VGA, Ethernet, memory card, HDMI and eSATA, for high-speed external disk drives. For researchers in their own CD labels, you'll be pleased to learn the DV3 is a LightScribe disc using its laser-equipped to burn images on the surface of a LightScribe disc. Even if an attempt Pavilion DV3 position as Entertainment Machine, it's better just to say that a laptop is pretty standard, that the work is done on the road, with a little style design, but also some small mistake.

I researched all the laptops out there before deciding on this point. I started law school so my needs were: Lightweight comfortable to type on an hourly basis touchpad good big hard drive – I take lots of pictures and I like to Itunes under $ 800 and not look goofy After about a month I say, I love this laptop, and I think I have the perfect choice. The keyboard is perfect, the touchpad is the best I have ever seen on a laptop, very smooth and very sensitive. It is super fast today, and large hard drive, I probably never meet (although I'll try). It is not hot, is super lightweight and comfortable to wear, the screen is perfect – I would not go smaller, and should not be more to go. I like the built-in webcam, such as refinishing sensitive volume control on the keyboard. Delete I do not even know the mind of Vista, if you are at this time we are going through and some other things that come preloaded on. The only improvement I would suggest, is another USB port, but if it is the only compromise that I make, I'm happy!
